Facility Support Services
Miriton
offers
support services for the ongoing operational requirements of facilities.
Capabilities range from diagnosing a problem system to the assessment of
an entire building.
Once
facilities are designed, built and turned over to the client, they need routine
support to ensure that they are operated reliably, safely and efficiently and conform
to current standards.
Miriton can provide this support, support that cannot always be obtained from a
client's in-house staff.
Miriton
can assess an entire building or a single system to determine its usefulness,
its limitations, capabilities and any upgrades required to maintain or
improve its usefulness.
In
additional to carrying out assessments of facilities and their systems we are
fully qualified and have experience in risk management. including
Ontario's Pre-Start Health and Safety Review. We can naturally integrate
risk assessments and reviews into any project we undertake,
or carry out the work as a discreet service.
National
and international policies and agreements on environmental and energy issues
are playing an increasing role in the operation of facilities. We have
experience with these issues, from developing corporate policies to their
implementation at the field level.
Problem
and troubled systems can seriously affect the usefulness of a facility,
which may in turn affect profitability. Having worked at the field
level with
facilities operations departments in the past, we have experience in diagnosing
trouble systems and making sensible recommendations for their repair or
upgrade.
With
our expertise in managing multi-discipline design teams, combined with our
experience at the field level, we are able to offer program and project
management services at any project stage as a discreet service.
Often
facilities need to carry out projects that are either too small for
traditional project delivery methods, or they are small in size, but complex in
scope. Miriton has experience in implementing such projects.
With Miriton working closely with the operations staff and their trades, and by applying
our quality service and our expertise, the client is assured that even the
smallest of projects will be carried out correctly.

Database Creation and CAD Customization
We
are able to carry out CAD work in strict accordance with a customer's
CAD standard. In the absence of a CAD standard we can use our own, or
develop a custom CAD standard for the client's adoption.

extensively customized CAD system allows us to prepare extremely high
quality and accurate database drawings in a cost effective manner. We
can prepare complete building CAD database drawings where none have
existed before, or we can build and improve on an existing CAD
database system.
